Winter operations

Snow Removal Contractor Standards

Snow work is time-sensitive and must follow Yard Loop route instructions, trigger-depth rules, customer scope notes, and safety requirements. Unless otherwise stated, standard residential snow service begins at approximately 2 inches of accumulation and includes the assigned driveway, front walk, and primary entry path. Contractors must maintain proper snow-removal equipment, reliable winter availability, safe operating practices, and active communication during storm events. Completion photos may be required after each visit. Contractors must report parked vehicles, blocked access, unsafe conditions, ice concerns, property damage, or incomplete work immediately. Ice melt may only be applied when authorized by Yard Loop or included in the customer plan.
