The seasonal package covers startup and winterization. Head replacement, valve and line repairs, zone expansion and new installations are separate jobs, quoted on what is actually found. Backflow testing where legally required is arranged with the appropriate certified provider.

Common questions
When should the blowout be done?
Before the first hard freeze — in this metro that usually means through October into early November. The window is short and every irrigation contractor is working it at once, which is why it is scheduled in advance rather than booked when the forecast turns.
What happens if I skip winterization?
Water left in the lines expands as it freezes. That breaks heads, valves and sometimes the backflow assembly, and the repair costs considerably more than the blowout. It is the one visit we would push you not to skip.
Do you repair sprinkler heads and zones?
Yes, as separate quoted work. If something is found during startup you are told what it is and what it would take, and nothing is repaired without your approval.
Can you install a new sprinkler system?
New system installation and zone expansion can be arranged. That is a project rather than a scheduled service, so it starts with a proper look at the property.
Do I need to be home?
Access to the controller and the shut-off is needed, so it depends on where those are. That is sorted out when the visit is scheduled rather than on the day.
What affects the price?
The number of zones is the main factor, along with access and system layout. Repairs are quoted on what is found rather than bundled into the seasonal price.
